'TEXAS' on October 29th, 2022: Alexis 'Alfonzo' Castillo died October 28th on the Front line near Peski. Ukrop artillery hit his position. He was not wounded, but the explosion collapsed the position and he was buried and suffocated. He was probably knocked unconscious and did not suffer. His family in Spain and in Donbass have been notified and are making funeral arrangements. Alexis was my first friend in the DPR Army and one of the oldest and best friends I ever had here. A real Communist, a true Internationalist, a Warrior and Defender, of Donbass, Russia, and everything good that is left in this world. There have been many International Volunteers who have served in the DPR Defense Forces, but very few who served like Alexis. For over 8 years, every day since 2014, Alexis served in the Army and Spetsnaz, defending Donbass AND Russia and the future of Humanity. Do not forget that he gave his life so that YOU might live. Do not forget the words of Jesus Christ - "There is no greater love than a man giving his life for his friends". The video is a tribute to Alexis from “Altai” 🌹🌹⭐️🌹🌹 "ТЕХАС" 29 октября 2022 г.: Алексис "Альфонсо" Кастильо погиб 28 октября на линии фронта под Песками.

Four years ago, on October 28, 2022, a brave warrior and internationalist, senior reconnaissance officer of the 3rd Guards Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Guard, Corporal Castillo González, Christian Alexis, fell in battle. During the Special Military Operation, Castillo carried out combat missions in Mariupol, Volnovakha, Peski, Kamenka, Novobakhmutovka, and Vodianoye. Between October 12 and 27, Castillo, as part of an assault group, participated in offensive operations near the settlement of Vodianoye. During defensive operations at the occupied lines, the unit led by Guard Corporal Castillo repelled 14 enemy counterattacks, during which the enemy lost 9 units of armored vehicles and at least 70 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters. On October 28, 2022, Guard Corporal Castillo sustained injuries incompatible with life. For heroism, bravery, and self‑sacrifice demonstrated while carrying out tasks in combat conditions, by Decree No. 132 of the Head of the DPR dated April 28, 2023, Guard Corporal Castillo was posthumously awarded the “St. George’s Cross” of the 4th Class. https://t.me/makeevka_kprf/4454
