⚠️ When: October 30th & 31st, November 6th & 7th at 20:00 / November 1st & 8th at 18:00
⚠️ Where: Atelier Gardens, Haus 12/13, Oberlandstraße 26–35, 12099 Berlin
Dear friend and constant collaborator, Renato De Leon is presenting a new immersive dance performance, Metaxy, at Atelier Gardens.
Inspired by Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy, Metaxy follows a human caught between the Apollonian world of order and ambition and the Dionysian world of emotion and desire, searching for a space somewhere in between.
Four performers move through the audience, accompanied by music mixed live by Berghain resident Norman Nodge, with video projections, lighting, haze and a custom-built Dahledohr sound system transforming the space around them. A curated art exhibition extends the experience before and after the performance.
We’re also proud to be part of the production, with our Store Manager and Head Stylist, Michelle Döring, styling the performers in collaboration with Renato.

This week is PornFilmFestival Berlin, and S*MAC – Sex, Media, Arts & Culture is taking part with the SMAC Forum: two days of panels, workshops, performances and conversations spanning kink, BDSM, porn, art, sexual health, intimacy, politics and the future of Berlin’s sex-positive culture. And, unlike some parts of festival week, SMAC is open to everyone.

It turns out that our beloved manager and dear friend, Darren Black, is also a superstar photographer. We knew that already, but back in PRIDE WEEK, he picked up his camera to do this high-concept art photoshoot with model and stylist Eric Mai Pototschnik.
