MAKE MICHIGAN PAY FOR THEIR COMMUNISM: Products Manufactured Only or Primarily in Michigan These have production concentrated at Michigan plants with no (or minimal) production elsewhere for the core products: Jiffy Mix (baking mixes, especially the iconic corn muffin mix) — Produced exclusively at the Chelsea Milling Company plant in Chelsea, Michigan. It is a single-facility operation that makes over 1 million boxes per day on average. Better Made Potato Chips (and related snacks like sticks and popcorn) — Made at the longtime factory on Gratiot Avenue in Detroit. The company remains Detroit-based and sources most potatoes from Michigan. Stormy Kromer caps (the signature wool winter caps with ear flaps) — Cut and sewn in Ironwood, Michigan (Upper Peninsula). The company is headquartered and primarily manufactures there. Mackinac Island Fudge — Handcrafted daily on the island itself by shops such as Original Murdick’s, Joann’s, and Ryba’s. Peak-season production exceeds 10,000 pounds per day. The authentic island version is location-specific (though similar fudge is made elsewhere). American Spoon preserves, jams, and related products — Handcrafted in Petoskey using primarily Michigan-sourced fruit. Sanders Bumpy Cake — The classic Detroit-originated chocolate cake with buttercream “bumps” and fudge icing. Production has historically and primarily been tied to Michigan facilities/partners; it is an iconic regional specialty. Vernors Ginger Ale (to a significant degree) — Bottled at the flagship plant in Holland, Michigan. It remains strongly associated with and most popular in Michigan (owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, with wider distribution). Agricultural Products Michigan Dominates (Not Exclusive) Michigan is the top or near-top U.S. producer of several crops but does not grow 100% of the national supply: Tart cherries (Montmorency) — Roughly 70–82% of the U.S. crop (Traverse City area is the “Cherry Capital”). Asparagus — #1 in the U.S. Certain dry beans (black beans, small red beans, cranberry beans). Blueberries (top or near-top producer). Cucumbers for pickling. Notes on Other Well-Known Michigan Brands: Many famous brands originated or are headquartered in Michigan but are not produced only there: Carhartt (HQ in Dearborn; most manufacturing is global). Kellogg’s (Battle Creek origins). Gerber baby food (Fremont origins). Faygo, Vlasic, and others. Thousands of smaller manufacturers, craft producers, wineries, and farms operate only in Michigan, but the list above covers the most widely recognized ones. BOYCOTT THESE PRODUCTS IF YOU WANT TO PROTEST COMMUNISM IN THE USA. FREE MARKET CAPITALISM WILL BECOME VERY ATTRACTIVE TO MICHIGANERS, ONCE THEIR PRODUCTS LOSE MARKET VALUE DUE TO THEIR COMMUNIST MENTALITY. The only way I can think of to force these IDIOTS to stop dabbling in Socialism and Communism, is to put the squeeze on the manufacturers in their state. If we all work together, they will feel the pain. Contact the manufacturers and let them know, we are not going to purchase products from a communist state. Here is contact information for the companies and brands from the list. 1. Jiffy Mix (Chelsea Milling Company) Analog Address: 201 W. In short, vigorous (even harsh or one-sided) criticism of public figures is strongly protected. Liability attaches mainly when false factual assertions are published with knowledge of their falsity or reckless disregard. Success depends on the specific facts, evidence, and jurisdiction—not on any Smith-Mundt-related rule. Consulting a media/defamation attorney with the particular statements and evidence is the practical next step if pursuing legal action.
