Reaching out to all of the developers, because I've made a thingy:
Mainline 7.2.9 source for Redmi Note 11!
Yep, after years of hard work, testing and much more, it is now possible to boot Mainline Linux on spes (with some limits). This is my Magnum Opus, it's not perfect, but it's good enough for now. Some features to note:
• Modem, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work!
• GPU Acceleration works.
• USB works with Reverse-Charging and role switching.
• Every storage medium (SD, USB Media, UFS) works.
• GPS (technically).
• Things I had to port:
• touchscreen;
• sm5602 + other required battery drivers.
Things that don't work:
• Video Encoding/Decoding are still WIP and don't work.
• The camera subsystem has some errors, but the main 50MP sensor works.
• NFC should work, there's a mainline driver for it already, but it's untested.
• Audio is really bad for now. I'm not sure if it's some specific setting, but only the left AUX channel and the bottom speaker (although very grainy and with a lot of noise) work.
• IR TX is weird, not sure how it works.
Also another good thing: U-Boot works, and it's what I used to test.
