Since Mains is still some time away, I thought it might be more useful to start sharing some Prelims-oriented resources first.
One of the subjects many of us struggle with is Ancient & Medieval History — mostly because reliable, consolidated resources are hard to come by. These are notes I compiled over my first two attempts from multiple sources including Old and New NCERTs, the Tamil Nadu Board Class 11 History book, PYQ compilations, and other supplementary material. They’re factual, Prelims-focused, and were designed to simplify revision.
⚠️ A quick clarification — Please don’t switch to these this close to the exam. Use them only to plug gaps or supplement what you’re already doing.
Also, an obvious disclaimer: these notes are intended purely as learning aids, not a reflection of my views on any contentious historical issues. And none of us make notes thinking we’ll have to publicly share them someday — so please exercise due discretion 🙂
🔥 World History Quick Revision will be out tomorrow: 15 pages. First, honestly: this is not a rank decider. Don't sit on this subject for three days- three focused hours, twice, is the right investment. But 2026 has hooks worth knowing:
💀 Example: 250 years of 1776: American independence and Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, the same year. That one anniversary sits on three syllabus heads at once: capitalism, the revolt against mercantilism, and the first successful decolonization. Note also that the American Revolution was last asked in 2013.
All such predicted themes in Module!
What's in the 15 pages:
✔️Every syllabus heading covered with dimensions, so you won't go blank on any question.
✔️ Ready introduction, conclusion and framework for a grid that lets you write 250 words on something you never revised.

⚠️ There is one essay theme which has been asked 5 times in 6 years- Do you know which?
✅ Further with proofs we have analysed 5 years of Essay PYQs and connected them to important current affairs events of that year and using this research we have built a PREDICTION DOCUMENT for 2026 essay paper! (Last year also we got hits from our document) ✔️
