Since Mains is still some time away, I thought it might be more useful to start sharing some Prelims-oriented resources first.
One of the subjects many of us struggle with is Ancient & Medieval History — mostly because reliable, consolidated resources are hard to come by. These are notes I compiled over my first two attempts from multiple sources including Old and New NCERTs, the Tamil Nadu Board Class 11 History book, PYQ compilations, and other supplementary material. They’re factual, Prelims-focused, and were designed to simplify revision.
⚠️ A quick clarification — Please don’t switch to these this close to the exam. Use them only to plug gaps or supplement what you’re already doing.
Also, an obvious disclaimer: these notes are intended purely as learning aids, not a reflection of my views on any contentious historical issues. And none of us make notes thinking we’ll have to publicly share them someday — so please exercise due discretion 🙂
