Yes, I've seen the posts from a few regarding the Odyssey movie & the casting of a black woman that has eroded their fragility. When lies have been told as truth long enough, they become the standard. The, "they wouldn't buy the bible if they knew Jesus was black," yes and that. I laugh when people say, "in Jesus name this is a Christian country, it's not for foreigners" while referring to black & brown people overlooking that Jesus wasn't white. If he was alive today, they wouldn't want him here either. I often wonder why certain people get agitated when they discover that blacks played a part in history, & refused to acknowledge that part was erased out of history globally. I was in Palma Cathedral in Majorca, Spain over a year ago and I commented on the Cathedral, that it looks like west African architecture & the guide said, "so it should as it was built by the Moors & they were West & North Africans". He went on to say he finds it fascinating when people say the Moors were Arabs, he always correct them & say, although they were Muslims, they were certainly not Arabs, but black Africans. It's the same with Odyssey, some people got their knickers in the twist over the character of Helen of Troy being played by a black woman, Lupita, even though Homer never provided a specific description of Helen's colour. Me wonder if they'd have been happy if a bird played the character seeing that she was supposedly born out of an egg? It's a known fact that the original Greeks weren't white, but melanated, somehow Helen of Troy is supposedly to have had fair skin & blonde hair according to whitewashed versions.
