🪵🍂 november is the month of poets, artists, thinkers, lovers and wanderers

just leave me alone.

on october 31st 1981 the marauders fell apart. one was dead, one was a traitor, one was imprisoned and one was left utterly alone. but go back to the day before. imagine them all together, on october 30th, planning sirius’s birthday. imagine them asking eachother what presents they should get him. imagine them discussing halloween costumes and laughing at eachother’s ridiculous ideas. imagine them happy. 3 days later, on november 3rd 1981, sirius black sat alone in a cell in azkaban, softly singing: “happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear sirius….”, whilst tears streamed down his face, wishing that he could go back in time.
