A Topper's Strategy for Making Notes. Note making is one of the biggest concerns for UPSC aspirants. In this video, Anusha A S (AIR 284) shares how she approached it. Notes can make an aspirant's life easier, since concise information is a great help during revision. But Anusha herself relied very little on notes. She made notes for the newspaper, but not for subjects like Polity and Modern History. These subjects are vast, and the standard books are already so well curated that separate notes were not needed. For Geography, her notes were mainly maps, and for Economics she followed her class notes. For Mains, she made notes for Ethics, which she describes as a personalised subject. She collected quotes and examples that resonated with her, so they were easy to remember. For the other subjects, she followed the Lead IAS Mains study materials, which were concise and up to the mark. Watch full video here
