What was the market sentiment on 15-16th of September ? Remember the fear and this despite pumping from 57k to 80k? Remember the fear and negative sentiment ?
Do you remember when people called for 50k back then ?
Do you know everyone is now calling for 70k and lower ?
I’ve finished opening my long positions between $80K and $81K, with an average entry of $80,400. My spot Bitcoin was bought earlier between $60K and $64K.
Here’s how my prediction played out:
- I predicted BTC would break above $82.5K and move towards $88K when it was trading around $60K.
- When BTC reached $88K and many people expected $100K, I predicted a correction towards $79K.
- BTC dropped to around $80K, so I closed my short at $80,600, bought more spot BTC, and opened a long position.
I believe the correction was part of the bull market, not the beginning of a new bear market.
For me, the $79K–$81K area is an important zone where buyers may be accumulating Bitcoin.
2. Why the $80K Area Matters
Large investors and institutions may have significant exposure around the $80K–$81.5K range.
The report also points to buying orders returning around $80K and a slowdown in profit-taking.
My interpretation is that some short-term traders are selling out of fear, while longer-term holders are more willing to hold their Bitcoin.
If buyers continue defending this area, it could help form a local bottom. However, support can still break, so confirmation is important.
3. Why the Market Feels More Fearful Than the Index Suggests
The Fear & Greed Index is reportedly at 54, which indicates a fairly neutral market mood.
However, the market feels much more fearful to me.
Some investors who bought Bitcoin earlier are still holding their positions, while others have become nervous and sold during the recent decline.
This may explain why the market feels bearish even though the overall sentiment index isn't showing extreme fear.
In simple terms, many traders are scared, but not everyone is selling.
4. My Bitcoin Target 🎯
I’m still holding:
- Spot BTC bought between $60K and $64K.
- Long positions opened between $80K and $81K.
My target is the $94K area.
What I want to see now is Bitcoin reclaiming the Daily EMA 50 and closing above it. That would strengthen the recovery case.
If BTC fails to reclaim it, bears could use that weakness as a reason to remain cautious.
For now, I believe the $79K–$81K area could be the local bottom, although the market still needs to confirm it.
5. Important Events This Week 📅
The main event to watch is the FOMC decision scheduled for October 28.
Interest-rate decisions and the Federal Reserve's comments can create volatility across financial markets, including Bitcoin.
Final thought: I’m cautiously bullish on BTC from this region, but I’ll be watching price action closely. The goal is to follow the market, not force a prediction.
Your daily reminder that 97,75% of all altcoins belong to the non recycling garbage, and yet people’s greed and IQ make this garbage recycling from time to time
It feels like BTC made a sprint in time , just to close the daily candle above the EMA50. Now, BTC needs to rest a bit because the run needs to continue
