I was replaying the storyline on one of my accounts and noticed an interesting detail. Aether mentions the Focalors’ curse, which she cast upon herself (upon Furina, her body), but he doesn’t say that she lifted it or that Furina is immortal.
It might seem far-fetched, but… Judge for yourselves: what does it cost to add just three simple words: ‘she is human now’ — nothing. It’s a drop in the ocean (ironically).
It strikes me that this could be a hint at her return to the post of Archon or a tacit confirmation that she is immortal (or perhaps both) + Furina will play an important role in the plot of the next story (as will all the Archons), so… Perhaps soon I’ll be saying again: «I TOLD YOU SO!»
