When the disciples saw Jesus walking toward them on the water, their first instinct was pure terror. They thought it was a ghost. How often do we do that? When unexpected fear, financial stress, or a health scare comes rolling in, we look at the storm and forget who is actually steering the night. Peter, bless his bold and messy heart, said, "Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water." And Jesus said one simple word: "Come." Notice that the wind didn't stop blowing the moment Peter stepped over the edge of the boat. The waves were still crashing. But Jesus was right there. Peter only began to sink the moment he took his eyes off Jesus and started measuring the height of the waves instead of the depth of the Savior's love. Maybe today you’re feeling the wind whip around you. Maybe you're scared to take that next step of faith. Hear Jesus whispering over the noise of your anxiety today: *"Take courage. It is I.
