Those attending this week's walking tour, I suggest getting the train from Waterloo which takes far less time than the district line (which may have engineering works).
Waterloo Underground Station is served directly by four London Underground lines: the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern (Charing Cross branch), and Waterloo & City lines
Trains from London Waterloo to Richmond run direct about every 10 to 15 minutes on Saturdays, operated by South Western Railway.
