ALERT AND UPDATE At 9am this morning, 40 police vehicles and more than 100 officers, (including PORT and arrest vans) have raided Djab Wurrung camp where 20 or so protesters were gathered to defend sacred trees from logging. The camp is on sacred women's land, on Djab Wurrung land, located alongside the Western Highway just outside of Ararat. This is a site of vast cultural significance to the Djab Wurrung Peoples. It is the site of centuries-old birthing trees, including the Grandmother Tree, where many generations of Djab Wurrung women gave birth. The police have completely surrounded the camp and people protecting the trees and are preparing for mass arrest.

University students and unions are joining French high-school students in the streets to stand up to the government that is immiserating them and the police who are attempting to suppress them. All around the world, we see the same austerity measures and state violence. https://crimethinc.com/France2026

Attack on the German Armed Forces https://de.indymedia.org/node/864020 In the early morning hours of September 24, 2026, we attacked three German Army trucks in Barleben, Saxony-Anhalt, with a box of incendiary devices. On September 25, thousands of students were on strike and in the streets to demonstrate against conscription, militarism, and war. Naturally, we workers also want to contribute to this movement and have therefore launched this concrete disarmament initiative. War on war! Red Workers: Ulrike Meinhof Action Group
