🔥 WHAT IF THE INTERVIEWER CHALLENGES YOUR ANSWER? Imagine you say teamwork is one of your strengths. The interviewer follows up: 🗣️ “Can you give us a real example of when you demonstrated teamwork?” 🚫 Don't panic. Don't invent an impressive story. And don't repeat your original answer. ✅ Use this simple structure: 🔹 Situation: Briefly explain what happened. 🔹 Action: Describe what YOU did. 🔹 Result: Explain the outcome or what you learned. 💡 Example: If you worked on a school assignment with others, explain how you divided responsibilities, handled a disagreement, or helped your team finish the task. WHY THIS MATTERS: A prepared answer tells the panel what you claim to be. A real example helps them understand how you behave. 🎯 PRACTICE CHALLENGE: If you claim that you are good at solving problems, what real example could you give to prove it? 🧠 THE POWER OF SAYING “WHY” One mistake candidates make during interviews is giving an answer without explaining their reasoning. Imagine the interviewer asks: “What is your greatest weakness?” ❌ Avoid: “I'm a perfectionist.” especially when you say it just because it sounds impressive. ✅ Try this approach instead: 1️⃣ Mention a genuine weakness that isn't critical to the role. 2️⃣ Explain how you've recognized it. 3️⃣ Describe what you're doing to improve. 💡 Example: “I sometimes feel nervous when speaking in front of unfamiliar people. I've been working on this by practising conversations, speaking in groups, and putting myself in situations where I can build confidence.” 🔥 THE SECRET: Interviewers aren't looking for someone who claims to have no weaknesses. Show self-awareness, honesty, and a willingness to improve. 🎯 PRACTICE CHALLENGE: How would you answer “What is your greatest weakness?” without using the word perfectionist?
