•• ""A saying by one of the righteous that touched me: 'A woman’s revealing clothing is evidence of Allah's anger upon her, because when Allah's anger fell upon Adam and Hawwa, He stripped them of their garments to show them their private parts.' And one of the girls says: "When I see a girl who has overdone her adornment and gone to extremes in revealing clothing, I look at her parents and remember the Almighty’s saying: (And stop them, for they are to be questioned)." So I increase in modesty and veil out of fear that my father might be asked?! Most of what Allah has forbidden in this world, He permitted in Paradise.. except for the revealing (clothing), for Allah has forbidden it in both realms. Rather, among the blessings is an increase in covering: (Indeed, it is [promised] for you not to be hungry therein or to be unclothed)." "One of the most beautiful things I have read about modesty."

Al-Baqarah 2:212 (212) زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَيَسۡخَرُونَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۘ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَرۡزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابࣲ Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allāh are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allāh gives provision to whom He wills without account.
