In this paper, I argue that existing commentary for the phrase "generation of vipers" is insufficient. I trace the word ἔχιδνα (viper) from its oldest attested usage, explore the connotations present through a pre-Christian and Christian understanding, and finally present my own commentary.
Saint Leif Erikson:

— What Makes a Saint?
Note: Saint honorific here is expressive. We are developing a new honorific system akin to Sainthood, which we view the same as Saints but provide distinguishment to historical Saints. Lexical inspirational comes from Latin Ere, English Sir & modern Laur/eate.
Happy belated Leif Erikson Day, commemorating Catholic Norse explorer Leif being the first known modern European to step foot on continental America, half a millennium prior to Columbus (~ᴬᴰ1020).
Born in Iceland ~970, Leif formed part of Greenland's first settlement Brattahlíð ~985, found a wife in Hebrides Scotland and was baptised at the court of Norway's King Olaf Tryggvason.
King Olaf commissioned Leif to return to Greenland to convert the settlers there. During the journey, he was blown off course and discovered Vinland (L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland) before finding his way to Greenland and successfully converting the entire settlement to Christ.
