🔍 Upon choosing your optional modules, I would highly recommend checking out some information from past years about the courseworks and lecture/seminar files
⚠️ Keep in mind that module learning outcomes, taught materials and courseworks might change, and it is always better to read the exact information from the CIFS Course Handbook
➡️ Also, Introduction to Business and Economics is a new module, which used to be separate (Introduction to Business Entrepreneurship and Fundamentals of Economics). Check out materials of both to make sure you don't miss anything
Registration for Semester 2 optional modules is now open on the Student Records System (SRS).
🗓️ Registration Period: 26 October – 16 November 2026 (inclusive)
👉 Register via https://srs.wiut.uz/ and follow the attached instructions.
📚 Before selecting your modules:
• Carefully read the email from Shahzaib Akhmed Khan, CIFS Course Leader, which will be shared shortly.
• Check the Course Handbook here or refer to the Module Presentation for detailed information.
⚠️ Important Reminders
• Select only optional modules offered in Semester 2 of AY 2026/2027, not core modules.
• Under Section 17 of the Handbook of Academic Regulations, the University may assign modules on your behalf if you miss the registration deadline.
• Once your selections are approved by the Course Leader, you will not be able to change your optional module choices.
Please review your options carefully and complete your registration before the deadline! 🌟
👀 We have noticed that you are confusing whether you will have classes next week or no, so here is a quick explanation:
- You will have ACS and QM seminars/workshops/lectures as scheduled, and continue learning academic materials ▶️
- You will NOT have PSE seminars/workshops, but instead, you have to finish Guided Independent Study for TW7 ⏸
❓ The reason:
- You have already passed QM in-class test, and had no mid-term exam for ACS. However, PSE mid-term presentations were scheduled for both Assessment Week and for the TW7. Some groups are yet to present their coursework, and that's why you have 1 week of independent studies
📌 From TW8, you will again have your PSE seminars/workshops as scheduled alongside with ACS and QM
