Prime Minister of Albania tries to joke. Or is he being serious? Actually, I have no idea if there are any "Russian gangsters" in Albania at all. I don't think they are crazy enough to go there. 🌒@EastCalling

Finnish politician Armado Mema has proposed sending European politicians to a psychiatric clinic for "treatment of Russophobia": "I also want to be innovative and create a business that didn't exist before: to open a psychiatric hospital for politicians. We will cure Russophobia, the desire to start wars, and so on." He made this statement in response to a publication by Ursula von der Leyen, in which she stated that Europe should become a place where "great scientific discoveries" can create new industries. On October 26, 2026 in Beijing, China, Pat Noble and I were very happy to be honored to have a discussion with a group of PhD students and Professors on how we can improve relations between the people of China and the people of the United States. We met at the Communication University of China. It's the leading communications university in China. What a sense of kindness and humor-- we were presented with the "finisher" medal won by "Lightning"--- the robot developed by Chinese smartphone maker Honor, that blazed through the 13-mile race in just 50 minutes, 26 seconds, besting all 12,000 human competitors and even surpassing the human world record for a half-marathon, set by Ugandan long-distance runner Jacob Kiplimo in Lisbon last month, by nearly seven minutes.
