🟠 Five human rights organizations and trade unions involved in supporting or organizing protests in France and Italy have received European
Union funding.

The organizations include France’s League of Human Rights (LDH), the International Federation for Human Rights
(FIDH), the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT), and Italy’s ARCI and
CGIL trade union confederation.

FIDH announced a European Commission funding partnership for 2023-2027 under a program worth €5.56 million. OMCT received approximately 1.93 million Swiss francs from the Commission in 2024 and another 620,617 francs from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

Meanwhile, LDH and ARCI participated in an EU-funded project worth €603,140, while CGIL coordinated a separate €270,520 European Commission-funded project.

The organizations supported
demonstrations in France and Italy, where protests turned into violent riots.

🟠 Denmark has rejected the asylum application of Ghazaleh, a 24-year-old Iranian woman whose supporters fear she could be arrested, tortured, or killed by Iran's Islamic regime if forced to return to her homeland.

Ghazaleh, who has participated in demonstrations defending women's rights, was ordered to leave Denmark by October 21, 2026. Human rights activist Eddie Wallin has publicly appealed to Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to intervene, warning that her life could be in danger.

According to Iran Human Rights, the Islamic Republic has executed at least 664 people in 2026 alone, including 23 women. At least 36 people have been executed in connection with antigovernment protests, highlighting the dangers facing Iranians accused of political dissent.

🇪🇺 How ironic: an NGO such as ENAR (European Network Against Racism), which has made the fight against racism its core business, is now reducing me to my skin colour by labelling me a 'racialised MEP' and calling the resolution against the Muslim Brotherhood recently adopted by the European Parliament 'Islamophobic' and 'racist! Coincidence? The resolution in question targets, amongst other things, the Muslim Brotherhood's extensive network in Europe. One might almost think that ENAR feels targeted... but why, I wonder?

Also how do you explain that an NGO which supposedly fights against racism apparently focuses first and foremost on a person's skin colour? Yes, I happen to be black. And yes, I grew up in a Muslim culture. But fortunately, I'm also critical enough to rise above my skin colour and background, and thus not let my thinking be dictated by organisations of this sort.
It seems to me it's high time to subject
ENAR itself to some critical scrutiny. In any case, I'm more motivated than ever to continue fighting the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliated organisations.
All citizens in Europe, including Muslims, really do not need political Islam in their lives.
