Is loving everyone equally possible? We have so many people in our lives, but can we love them all equally? The love within us is the same; only its expression changes depending on our relationships and responsibilities. Sometimes, we even become politically correct in the way we express our love. But what matters is keeping our hearts open, pure and full of positivity with Heartfulness meditation, so that whoever comes close to us can feel the fragrance of that love.

Goals give us direction; they give us the intention and vision to make things happen. Without them, we are like boats without helms, drifting and ending up wherever the currents take us. Goals bring awareness, focus, effort, and an interest in accomplishing something. That doesn’t mean we need to be forceful: ‘I want this, and I will achieve it, come what may!’ Selfish goals have been the cause of humanity’s downfall, and at what cost! Goals become more fruitful when the intention is subtler, and when there is flexibility, patience, acceptance, generosity of heart, and naturalness.

What does it mean to live by Dharma? Drawing on the wisdom of the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and Heartfulness practice, my new book, Dharma, explores how we can recognise what each moment asks of us and move towards greater awareness, surrender, and inner freedom. Share the gift of Dharma with your loved ones: a source of wisdom to return to throughout life.
