I studied for the SAT with Mr. Yoqubjon, and with his efforts, I got the perfect 800 on the math section. Because of this result, I trusted him with my AP Calculus score as well, eventually getting 5 on the Calculus BC exam. In the classroom, he balanced our desire to learn with the desire to score high, giving both the tips on how to solve the questions faster with what we have during the exam and also explaining the root of the problems so that we have an overall understanding of the term rather than just that problem. He wouldn’t count the hours he is getting paid for and just give his most in any circumstance. We had online lessons during the winter break and also extra mock lessons on weekends so we could feel the environment of the exam. He would be there till everyone leaves even though he is getting paid for just the 2 hours. He wanted us to succeed as much as we wanted to, and with that determination, everyone in class passed one of the hardest AP exams. I am grateful to be his student.
