This is the work of theENDF in #Metekel Zone. They burn down villages, conduct indiscriminate killings, set harvests on fire, and displace an entire population—all in the name of eradicating the Oromo Liberation Army(OLA). ENDF had ordered the Oromo population of the Zone to depart leaving their homes, harvests, and cattle behind on a short order. Anyone lingering behind will be executed. Already in over 75 villages, anyone who questions the local authorities are either killed, jailed, or disappeared; and their homes and harvests are vandalised and razed to the ground. The remaining villagers are told to leave before ጥር 15 (January 25?), or else the ENDF “will destroy them along with OLA.” This targeting of Oromos is particularly intense in Dibate,Bullen, Wonbera districts. The local officials (Fekadu Debelo and Nemera Maruu) are the ones wreaking havoc on the people. This act of ethnic cleansing is a genocidal move against the Oromo—for which they and the ENDF will be responsible in due course.
