National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM)

✏️The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) will be established at Rajapakad in Hajipur, Vaishali district.
✏️The establishment of NIFTEM in Bihar was officially announced in the Union Budget 2025–26 under the Government of India’s ‘Purvodaya’ initiative.
✏️It will be India's third such Institute.
✏️The institute will operate under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of the central government.
✏️It has the status of an Institute of National Importance like the IITs and NITs.

राष्ट्रीय खाद्य प्रौद्योगिकी उद्यमिता एवं प्रबंधन संस्थान (NIFTEM)

✏️राष्ट्रीय खाद्य प्रौद्योगिकी उद्यमिता एवं प्रबंधन संस्थान (NIFTEM) की स्थापना वैशाली जिले के हाजीपुर स्थित राजापाकड़ में की जाएगी।
✏️बिहार में NIFTEM की स्थापना की आधिकारिक घोषणा केंद्रीय बजट 2025–26 में केंद्र सरकार की ‘पूर्वोदय’ पहल के अंतर्गत की गई थी।
✏️यह भारत का तीसरा ऐसा संस्थान होगा।
✏️यह संस्थान केंद्र सरकार के खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्य करेगा।
✏️इसे IITs और NITs की तरह “राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थान” (Institute of National Importance) का दर्जा प्राप्त है।
