Important Bihar Current Affairs for 72nd BPSC Prelims
1⃣Bihar government has approved a proposal to set up a 10-megawatt solar power plant on the embankment of the Western Son Canal.
2⃣Bihar has won 9 Medals( 1 Good,6 Silver and 2 Bronze)at the National Para Lawn Bowls tournament held in Assam.
3⃣AIIMS Darbhanga
✏️The Union Cabinet has approved an additional 700 Crore for the AIIMS Darbhanga project, bringing the total estimated cost to 1964 Crore.
✏️It will be the Second AIIMS of Bihar and the first one in the North Bihar.
✏️PM Modi laid the foundation stone in November, 2024.
✏️AIIMS Patna was established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) following the announcement of the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in his Independence Day speech on 15 August 2003.
4⃣ Archeological Survey of India has commenced excavation work at the Ancient historical Site of Balirajgarh in Madhubani District.
