This might be the most unasked question here, but I’ll do it. So there’s this girl that I like, and I’m really into her in a halal way. I was brave enough to talk to her after a lot of analysis that I did. Then I talked to her and made it clear that I want halal.

She asked me a lot of questions and I answered them all. She kept asking about me and trying to know me better, and she finally agreed.

We are both students at AAU, and both families are middle class, but I do work in different things (no one knows how many things I work on other than Allah), and I make a ton of money, Alhamdulillah. I sometimes sleep for just a few hours to be able to cope with my work.

And yes, I asked her for marriage and she agreed, but her family couldn’t be convinced, and I don’t know why 😭😭

So my question is mostly for Muslims: how can I persuade her family to accept me? They’re saying that we are both students, that the age gap is small, and that I wouldn’t be fit for her.

Guys I've discovered this, if u have feelings for smn and it can't vanish. Just try to reach out, start the conversation first, when they ignore u like nothing respond with kindness and talk too decent, then there is this feeling developed inside u like u start to feel nothing when u realised the harder way that you don't have place in them. Then one day when u woke up from the room their name looks like some random contact on ur phone. If ur lucky enough u would even delete it.
