In the morning a few million people will be going out to vote on their next master. If you're in Wales or Scotland, you've been keenly reminded that this is the most important vote ever and that everything will be different after this one. Your options are Reform: Tories reduced down to bland civic fascist risotto pinning their hopes to a single issue, well that and the nations deep desire for 30mph speed limits, the Greens: Replacing the suicidal Labour party in the role of would be masters who spin socialist dreams and bring neo-liberal realities, and of course SNP and Plaid, parties whose politics tack with the the wind, and can be reduced to reassuring you things will be better if your master has an accent like yours. None of the other parties matter and to be fair there are a few indies out there who seem like decent folk who forlornly believe they can change the system from within, poor loves.
Anyways, I'm not repeating myself, skip the first line and last years piece on the most important election ever is perennial. Spoil your ballot and use any energy you might of spent thinking about this circus, doing something cool for your communities and help those around you find empowerment in take responsibility for our future back into our hands.
